Products, Pricing, Promotion Codes and Payments

• Only genuine products which are directly sourced from production houses and authorised distributors are traded at Essentials.lk

• Prices are displayed in LKR.

• All images of the products are for illustration purposes only. The labelling and the packaging of the product may slightly vary due to the changes made by the brand.

• All products available on our website are subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or limit the quantity of any product without notice. While we strive to provide accurate product descriptions and pricing, errors may occur. In such cases, we reserve the right to correct errors and cancel any orders affected by such errors.

• Only one promotion code or gift voucher code can be redeemed against a single order.

• Special offer prices are only valid for purchases made during the promotional period at the discounted price. Essentials.lk does not provide refunds for items purchased at a higher price outside the offer period.

 

Refund

• Cash refunds are not available for paid orders. However, customers have the flexibility to exchange their purchase for another item of the same value. If the selected item is priced higher than the original purchase, the customer will need to pay the difference. Please note that the shipping fee will be deducted from your refund value.

• We strive to ensure product availability and accuracy in our inventory, but should there be any discrepancies in the stock, we will notify you at our earliest and process your full refund, including shipping fees. 

Delivery

• Essentials.lk reserves the right to contact the customer directly regarding the orders made.

• Essentials.lk reserves the right to deliver certain orders only to a billing address. In such instances, customers will be notified by e-mail.

• In the event an order which is not collected by the customer is returned to Essentials.lk by the postal or courier service, the customer will be eligible to collect a refund. Essentialslk will not refund the postal charges, and the customer will be notified of the return of the ordered products and the annulment of the order.

• In the event an order is not received, Essentials.lk must be notified in writing or by email within 45 working days of dispatch. No claim can be processed after this time period.

• Essentials.lk cannot be held responsible or liable for the delay or failure to deliver ordered goods. It is beyond the control of Essentials.lk to prevent damages or defects that may occur in the process of delivery.

• We offer shipping to the regions specified on our website. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be displayed at checkout. Please ensure the shipping address is correct

If your product is eligible for a refund, you can choose your preferred refund method based on the table below. The time required to complete a refund depends on the refund method you have selected.

 

You are eligible to initiate returns within 3 days of receiving your order. Returns or refunds will be accepted only in instances where the product is damaged (i.e leaking product, damages to product cap/lid etc) or if an incorrect item was dispatched due to an error on our end. Items with solely damaged packaging, damages to the product box (i.e outer packaging of the product) or a change in preference post-order placement are not eligible under our Returns and Refunds Policy. All items returned must be unopened, unused and in their original state with the packaging intact. 

• Customers are advised to check order details carefully before submitting orders as changes cannot be made once the order has been placed. Essentials.lk will not grant compensation for inconvenience and/or loss experienced as a result.

• All complaints will be acknowledged within seven working days, and the customer will be informed of its status.

• Essentials.lk will not provide any of your details to a third party unless you have given Essentials.lk permission to do so.

• Essentials.lk is committed to protecting your privacy and will handle the information you provide, including your email, personal, and financial details, strictly in accordance with out privacy policy.

• The customer is responsible for preserving the confidentiality of their username and password and for all activities carried out under their account. Essentials.lk is unable to verify the identities of registered customers and will not be held liable for any losses incurred due to unauthorized use of a customer’s credentials, unless this occurs due to negligence or a lapse in security from our end.

• The content of the Essentials.lk website is provided for personal shopping purposes and shall not be used for any other purpose without prior permission from Essentials.lk.

• Essentials.lk reserves the right to amend or modify the provided Terms and Conditions including for legal, regulatory or security reasons. Whilst Essentials.lk will notify the customers of major changes through the website and/or emails, it is also the responsibility of the customer to check the Terms for changes.
